ELECTWAY Shines at the 139th Canton Fair – EV Charging Converters and DC Fast Chargers Draw Global Attention
GUANGZHOU, April 2026 – The first phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) successfully concluded on April 19, 2026, at the Guangzhou Pazhou Complex. Under the theme “Advanced Manufacturing,” this phase featured over 52,000 square meters of exhibition space, 25,064 booths, and more than 11,300 participating companies. Among the busiest sections was the New Energy Vehicles and Intelligent Mobility zone, where international buyers showed strong interest in China’s latest EV charging technologies. Standing out in this dynamic environment was ELECTWAY (Guangzhou Guanting Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd.), a fast-growing technology company specializing in EV charging infrastructure. Its booth became a major attraction, drawing crowds with its innovative charging converters and high-power DC chargers.

Rooted in Guangzhou, with over a decade of charging expertise
Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Guangzhou, ELECTWAY has focused on power electronics for new energy applications, covering R&D, production, and sales of EV charging equipment. The company now provides full-process development capabilities from design to delivery, offering tailored charging solutions for various scenarios.
After more than ten years of technical refinement, ELECTWAY’s product range covers both AC charging piles and DC fast chargers, with power outputs from 15 kW to 500 kW. Product forms include wall-mounted, portable, e-bus super chargers, LCD integrated EV charging stations, V2H solutions, and a variety of charging connectors. ELECTWAY has already exported to more than 80 countries and regions across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. On the technical side, the company has a professional R&D team, attaches great importance to independent intellectual property, and has obtained ISO9001, CE, and RoHS certifications. ELECTWAY is also an official member of the CHAdeMO Association.

Charging converters – solving cross-standard compatibility challenges
At the 139th Canton Fair, ELECTWAY showcased several core charging converters, which drew intense interest from international buyers. The CCS2 to GB/T DC converter was particularly popular. It enables Chinese-standard EVs to charge at stations in Hong Kong, supporting a maximum current of 250A, maximum voltage of 900V, and peak power of 225kW. Another model, the GB/T to CHAdeMO DC converter, provides convenient charging for vehicles from the mainland traveling to Hong Kong, seamlessly compatible with Japanese hybrid/EV models such as Nissan and Mitsubishi (up to 50kW). ELECTWAY also presented its CCS to CHAdeMO converter and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) discharge device, which attracted large numbers of buyers from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

DC fast chargers – high power, wide compatibility, and robust safety
Beyond its signature charging converters, ELECTWAY demonstrated its full lineup of charging piles, covering everything from home AC chargers to public DC fast chargers. In the DC fast charging segment, the company has achieved a technical breakthrough with single‑gun output of up to 120 kW, significantly reducing EV charging waiting times for commercial fleets and public fast‑charging stations.
ELECTWAY chargers feature user‑friendly interactive interfaces and support multiple activation methods including RFID cards, mobile App control, and Wi‑Fi. They can also be equipped with POS payment terminals for direct credit card payment, providing a convenient, fast, and secure payment experience. The charging stations support the OCPP 1.6 protocol and are equipped with comprehensive safety protections including overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, leakage, surge, and short circuit protection, ensuring stable and reliable operation under any environmental conditions.
Global buyers respond enthusiastically to ELECTWAY’s solutions
With the world accelerating its transition to green energy and electric mobility, charging infrastructure is becoming increasingly critical. The first phase of the 139th Canton Fair saw a record number of overseas buyers – over 148,000 from 216 countries and regions. ELECTWAY’s complete product matrix, from AC slow chargers to DC fast chargers, along with its unique charging converter solutions, successfully captured the attention of many purchasers from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, and Europe.
At the booth, international buyers praised the patented design and compatibility of ELECTWAY’s charging converters. For instance, the CCS2 to CHAdeMO converter is lightweight, compact, IP55 rated, and UL94 V0 flame retardant. It is compatible with approximately 99% of GB/T DC fast chargers and nearly all CCS2 vehicles. Such highly compatible, safe, and reliable products are exactly what the globally interconnected charging infrastructure urgently needs.
Numerous international buyers expressed cooperation intentions on the spot, covering project investment, equipment procurement, and technical collaboration. More in‑depth meetings were scheduled to advance these partnerships. ELECTWAY stated that it will take the 139th Canton Fair as a new starting point to further accelerate its global expansion, relying on the industrial and geographical advantages of the Greater Bay Area. The company aims to provide its global partners with more efficient, smarter, and greener charging solutions – contributing to the worldwide electric mobility transformation under the carbon neutrality goal.
